With the storm in the distance, the rainbow owns the sky. Let this multicolored-gemstone ring serve as a reminder that even when things seem rough, beauty lies ahead. Jewelry artist Emilie Shapiro handcrafts each one by carefully placing rose quartz, pink spinel, diamond, yellow sapphire, green garnet, tanzanite, and aquamarine in an artful arc and then allowing molten recycled 14-karat yellow gold to surround the gems and solidify into this sculptural ring. Made to last generations, it's a piece you'll be proud to pass on, with a message that's worth remembering for years. Handmade in New York City.

“A goal is just a dream with a deadline.”

There was never a moment that Emilie Shapiro didn't consider herself an artist. "Before I could speak," she says, "I expressed myself through what I made with my hands." While getting her degree in metalsmithing at Syracuse University, she spent a summer at Alchimia Contemporary Jewelry School in Florence, Italy. "I have a massive stone collection that I started when I was two," and to spark inspiration, she says, "I usually pull out my drawers of gems and minerals and something catches my eye."
